CULTIVATING LEADERS WHO TRANSFORM BUSINESS
UNLV Executive MBA
Designed for senior and mid-career executives, the Executive Master’s in Business Administration (EMBA) prepares professionals to lead with confidence.
The EMBA Program harnesses the intellectual capital of the University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV) and the Southern Nevada business community, with faculty and guest lecturers who excel in both the private sector and academia. The condensed 18-month program offers an unmatched combination of quality, affordability, and convenience. The management-focused curriculum emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and leadership. The full-service program caters to the needs of business leaders so they can focus on their families, professional commitments, and EMBA course work.
Business professionals gain new skills and knowledge, and sharpen their analytical aptitude through the UNLV EMBA. Outstanding and award-winning faculty members promote innovative thinking in non-traditional class settings by:
- Teaching executive leadership through the integration of knowledge, skills, and experience
- Increasing students’ abilities in problem identification, analysis, and discovery of alternative solutions
- Encouraging application of theoretical solutions to actual problems
- Integrating the greater business community into the learning environment through guest speakers from local industry, live cases, and in-class discussions
This hands-on, real-world approach to curriculum allows students to take what they learn during the weekend back to the office on Monday morning.
The program takes both a macro and micro approach to leadership. On a macro-level, the EMBA provides students a foundation in global leadership through the international business course work and capstone International Seminar. Individually, students gain leadership skills throughout the program with courses that emphasize teamwork, conflict management and negotiations, and executive development. EMBA students and alumni have access to an executive coach to continue growth outside the classroom and beyond graduation.
